This is the only group of vases that really belong together. They are rather chunky in construction, but extremely carefully decorated with delicate geometric patterns, first outlined with a very fine brush in dark blue and then filled in with white, light blue and pink. The pattern seems to reflect the irregularly shaped edges of the vases - a real trademark of Marlies' work from this period.
