This vase looks more like a solidified piece of lava than a purpose-made object. It seems to have been created by chance. The deep opening at the front and the rough wall of the vase, which is pulled apart, so to speak, make it look dramatic, an effect enhanced by the contrasting colors. It is much heavier than all the other objects - the material used feels more like stoneware than clay.
