In a thrift store I would immediately recognize this one now as a “real” Marlies. Crooked, irregular rim which she accentuates even more by painting it the same color as the wild, almost splattered -on, decoration.
Although this small vase looks robust, it is surprisingly light due to its thin wall. Beautiful thing!
